Jamaican Me Laugh in Sedona

Jamaican Me Laugh features the brilliant comedy star "Matilda-Jamaica's #1 Comedienne" and her sidekick, Second City trained, Patrick Murray March 1 at Sound Bites Grill in Uptown Sedona.

This laugh-filled, multi-cultural show highlights the sexy, sassy, vibrant observations of this hip comedienne.

The show has been performed extensively at colleges and top comedy clubs across America and Canada, including the Improv, The Laugh Factory and The Comedy and Magic Club in California.

Matilda and Patrick deliver a sharp hilarious 90-minute set and are will be in Sedona March 1 at Sound Bites Grill located at the Hyatt Pinon Pointe.

Enjoy a 4 course dinner followed by the show. Expect the unexpected as "Jamaican Me Laugh" delivers a show sparkling with wit and good humor.

Expect to laugh longer and harder than you've ever laughed before as you are amused and amazed as the charming outrageous Matilda blossoms to life in the hands of this flawless Ventriloquist / Puppeteer / Humorist Patrick Murray.

Patrick knew he wanted to be a ventriloquist at age 23.

Up until that time, although he was a clever mimic and full of funny voices, he made his living unloading freight trains.

After teaching himself ventriloquism from Izzy Rizzy's Home Study Course a $4 booklet from Izzy Rizzy's House of Tricks and School of Ventriloquism on Chicago's South Side, he decided to stop throwing freight and start throwing voices.

His newfound talents landed him in top nightclubs where he honed his craft and sense of humor.

You will be charmed by the lovable and outrageous MATILDA and change how you feel about ventriloquists!

This character was developed at the encouragement of West Indian friends and co-workers who thought that Patrick's talent for the West Indian accent and sense of humor warranted a character that highlighted the islands.

She was an instant hit and a beloved character.

Expect to leave the show feeling happy and invigorated. Jamaican me Laugh is showing on Friday March 1. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Tickets include a 4-course dinner followed by a 90-minute show with a small intermission.
