Sedona Gallery Association hosts 1st Friday Tour Jan. 4
Rowe Fine Art Gallery artist Nicolai Medvedev’s journey began when, as a child, he studied art in his native Russia. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1980 and quickly became an award-winning inlay artist. Then he took a sculpting class in Sedona three years ago, and everything changed. See Nicolai’s bronze wildlife sculptures – on exhibit for the first time anywhere – and meet the artist at Rowe Fine Art Gallery.

Sedona's finest art galleries invite you to enjoy an evening of openings, special guests, artists receptions and celebrations at their 1st Friday Gallery Tour on Jan. 4, 5-8 p.m.

All guests are welcome to attend free of charge and enjoy the Sedona Trolley, which does continuous loops to all locations. Some of January's highlights include:

ALT Gallery presents "Good but Strange."  For January, ALT Gallery has searched the recesses of the back room & warehouse to showcase artwork that is offbeat, eccentric, unusual, macabre, bizarre, or just a little out of the ordinary.  The show will feature works from nationally known artists at their self indulgent best.  Join them and prepare to be both bemused and amused by this entertaining collection from "outside the box."

Andrea Smith Gallery features artist, philosopher, gallery owner and Sedona resident, Andrea Smith who is often referred to as the world peace artist, constantly spreading the message that peace on earth begins with finding peace within.
