'Creative waiting' with Eleanor Rowe at WRC
Rowe
Rowe

Sedona author, Eleanor Rowe, will discuss her book, "How to get Rich, Powerful, Healthy and Sexy While You Wait," at The Well Red Coyote bookstore on Friday, April 20, at 7 p.m.

Do you find yourself waiting way too often - in lines, on the phone, or online? Rowe will show you how to use that time more productively. A national bestseller when it was first published as "Waiting Games,"Rowe's waiting-wisdom is now back in print.

Drawing on the wisdom of East and West, she will share the secrets of "Creative Waiting," with dozens of simple, unobtrusive exercises for the body, mind and mood contained in the delightful pages of her book, so you will never again wait in vain.

One of the best things about her system of "Creative Waiting" is that many of the exercises can be done just about anywhere, including those long checkout lines. Time is the one un-renewable resource we have. This insightful woman will show you how to make the most of it. The book is also delightfully entertaining. Masterfully illustrated by highly acclaimed New Yorker cartoonist Jack Ziegler, you'll giggle while you read real stories about real people-people who have discovered how to make the most of every waiting moment.

Rowes's exercises show you how you can improve your appearance, feel younger, lose weight, reduce stress, and increase your energy, as well as to harness anger, banish panic, diminish fatigue, erase scowl lines, improve your eyesight, achieve self-confidence, and even decrease your muggability! (Not that mugging is a big problem in Sedona.)

Eleanor Rowe holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from NYU, and has taught at NYU, Hunter College and George Washington University. She is a veteran of TV and radio interviews.

The Well Red Coyote is located at 3190 W. 89A, at the corner of 89A and Dry Creek Road. For more information, call 282-2284 or go to www.wellredcoyote.com.
