Six-week novel writing class at Well Red Coyote
Kris Neri has written two stand-alone thrillers and has published over 60 short stories, including two Derringer Award winners and two Pushcart Prize nominees.
Kris Neri has written two stand-alone thrillers and has published over 60 short stories, including two Derringer Award winners and two Pushcart Prize nominees.

Award-winning author and writing instructor, Kris Neri, will be teaching a specia six-week novel writing course, beginning on Friday, March 9, at The Well Red Coyote bookstore in West Sedona.

Each class will be 2 hours long, from 10 a.m. to noon, and will cover such topics as structure, setting, characterization, point-of-view, pacing, writing effective scenes, and many others, and will include Neri's original hand-outs and special reading materials.

Kris Neri writes the Lefty Award-nominated Magical Mystery series, High Crimes on the Magical Plane and Magical Alienation, as well as the Agatha, Anthony, Macavity, Lefty Award-nominated Tracy Eaton mystery series.

She has written two standalone thrillers and has published over 60 short stories, including two Derringer Award winners and two Pushcart Prize nominees.

Neri teaches writing online for the Writers' Program of the UCLA Extension School, and is co-owner of The Well Red Coyote.

Her novel writing course is an shortened version of her very popular 10-week online course at UCLA.

Although the online course fee is several hundred dollars, she is offering this special local course for only $75 ($100 if you enroll after March 1), payable before the first class.
