Pepsi-Cola Taylor House Century Ride - 7/21, 7 am: Give cyclists the opportunity to ride through the amazing views of Northern Arizona while supporting a good cause. 95-mile mountain route begins at FMC and winds through historic Flagstaff, Wupatki and Sunset Crater national monuments, and back to FMC. Arizona Highland Celtic Festival - 7/21 - 7/22, 9 am: The festival hosts a number of workshops that teach about Celtic history, the art of Celtic appliqué, a labyrinth workshop, how to play various instruments, including musical bones and the bodhran, a tambourine-like drum. Special activity areas for young people at the festival, including the famous oopy goopy Oatmeal Toss, make the event especially family-friendly. Adults, $15 for one day and $22 for two days. 12th Annual It's Elemental Fine Craft Exhibition - 11/20 - 12/20: Celebrating the talent and creativity of regional crafts people by showcasing fine craft work that demonstrates a command of the medium and a high level of workmanship and design. The exhibit will include objects created from clay, wood, fiber/paper, metal, and glass. Submitted pieces can be functional or non-functional.
