Bird Walks - Wednesdays and Saturdays through July, 7 am: Join a naturalist for a guided bird walk directed at beginning as well as advanced birders.  Bring your own binoculars. Red Rock State Park, 4050 Lower Red Rock Loop Road, Sedona. 928-282-6907.

Daily Guided Nature Walks - Thru July, 10 am: A naturalist leads a guided nature walk of one and a half to two hours. You will be introduced to the riparian ecosystem of Oak Creek and other aspects of the Park. Some of the subjects that may be discussed include plants, wildlife, geology, history, and archaeology. Park entrance fee is $10.00 per vehicle, up to four adults. Red Rock State Park, 4050 Lower Red Rock Loop Road, Sedona.

Blue Star Museum Program - Thru 9/3: Free admission to museums for all active duty military personnel and their families. Sedona Heritage Museum, 735 Jordan Road, Jordan Historical Park, Uptown Sedona. 928-282-7038.

Arizona Women's Heritage Trail - Thru 9/3, 11 am: This exhibit is a celebration of women from Arizona's past who have made significant contributions and have left a lasting mark on our state and our people.  While the Trail honors over 100 women, 18 are highlited in this exhibit, including four from the greater Sedona area.  Sedona Heritage Museum, 735 Jordan Road, Jordan Historical Park, Uptown Sedona. 928-282-7038.

Sedona Fires Fundraiser Golf Outing - 7/29, 1 pm: This shotgun-style golf outing will end with a dinner/awards/silent auction event at 6 pm. The cost will be $500 per foursome team and

Cowboy Cookout - 10/6: Professional award-winning Dutch oven cook, Grant Smith, will be serving beef and all the fixin's, like biscuits, potatoes, beans, dessert and cowboy coffee.  The entire meal will be cooked over open fires in old-time cast iron Dutch ovens.  Tickets are $25 per person at the Museum.  Sedona Heritage Museum, 735 Jordan Road, Uptown Sedona. 928-282-7038.
