Arizona Highland Celtic Festival - 7/21 - 7/22, 9 am: The festival hosts a number of workshops that teach about Celtic history, the art of Celtic appliqué, a labyrinth workshop, how to play various instruments, including musical bones and the bodhran, a tambourine-like drum. Special activity areas for young people at the festival, including the famous oopy goopy Oatmeal Toss, make the event especially family-friendly. Adults, $15 for one day and $22 for two days.
