Lisa Bacon: Busy Being
The Sedona Art Museum will hold its first fundraising event of the season, "Lisa Bacon: Busy Being," hosted by the family in the home of Ron Bacon, a retired Emmy Award winning director, at 236 Eagle Lane, Sedona, from 1 to 6 p.m. Nov. 1, by invitation only and from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, for the general public.

Bell Rock Plaza Art Show returns for 18th season
The September Bell Rock Plaza Art and Craft show is scheduled for Sept. 13-14 and there will be many old favorites as well as some new artists who have never shown here before.

As allegorical sculptor James Muir continues work on his monumental project for Kyle Stadium at Texas A&M University, he will also return some focus to a patriotic female soldier piece entitled "Athena's Prayer" that he began work on in the maquette size in 2012, which was recently completed in bronze.
