Five well known members of the Sedona Visual Artists' Coalition (SVAC) will be demonstrating their working processes at the Sedona Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center in Uptown Sedona. This four day event begins Monday, April 21, and continues through Thursday, April 24, starting at 11 a.m. daily.

VILLAGE of OAK CREEK -- Easter is a traditional date for an Art and Craft show at Bell Rock Plaza and this is the 18th annual event. It is a larger show because of the holiday crowds who come to Sedona for Easter and this year is no exception. There will be over 40 artists attending.

Jim Romberg: The Intoxication of Raku
Why are we so fascinated by raku ceramics? Pieces of clay that assume weird, unusual shapes bearing random slashes of color and design. Why has raku suddenly sprung to the fore, becoming the new rage in art?

A raku work of art sits by itself, has no connection with its surroundings. It appears in all shapes and displays unusual designs, but serves no purpose other than to puzzle and delight us. Works of raku play on the imagination, invite us to ponder on our lives, to speculate on the future.

El Valle Artists group hosts ceramic sculpture workshop
Saturday, April 12, Joyce Killebrew - a local sculptor and painter with an international following - leads an intensive, all-day exploration of ceramic sculpture at her home studio in Cornville.

For this class, the focus is on sculpting animal figures, using a coarsely-textured terracotta sculpture clay that needs no further treatment after firing.

On Friday, April 4, Pop Up Sedona Gallery will be highlighting two local artists, Linda Bellacicco and Pauline Georgakis, along with several other gallery artists. Special events at Sedona 1st Friday Gallery Tour
Sedona's finest art galleries invite you to enjoy a special evening of openings, special guests, artist receptions and celebrations at their 1st Friday Gallery Tour on April 4 from 5 to 8 p.m.

All guests are welcome to attend free of charge and ride the Sedona Trolley, which does continuous loops to the Gallery Row & Uptown locations.  West Sedona locations, Goldenstein Gallery and Greg Lawson's Passion for Place, are not served by the Trolley.

The monthly tradition of Jerome First Saturday Art Walk has taken root and will blossom once again this spring with new artists and studios as well as Jerome's exciting and well-known galleries. Village artists' work on display at Phoenix Sky Harbor Museum
Sedona artists are among more than 60 Arizona artists from around the state whose nature-inspired artworks are on display at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Museum in an alliterative exhibition titled "Birds, Blooms and Bugs."

The works of Mary Dove and Beverly Kievman Copen are included in the exhibition that showcases a variety of media in Terminal 3 and Terminal 2.

SAC presents special exhibit of work by 'Renaissance Man' Ed Jaskulski
Sedona Arts Center will honor Sedona artist Ed Jaskulski March 28-30 in a unique exhibit, "Renaissance Man at 100."

Ed's impressive collection of works will be on display for three days only in the Special Exhibition Gallery at Sedona Arts Center in Uptown Sedona from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with a special opening reception Friday, March 28, 5-6:30 p.m.

Betty Carr: The Drama of Light
Whatever her subject matter, light bursts from the paintings of Betty Carr. How easily she handles landscapes with translucent watercolor and how deftly she has caught the cogent effects of light on flower petals pierced by the sun, rippling river waters, and mountain slopes encrusted with snow.

"What catches my eye is the effect light has on form in unique situations whether fleeting, spilling over, striking, etc. I challenge myself in capturing its dramatic and/or subtle effects."

Art & Craft Show at Relics features Jason Kimmel art
Relics Rainbow's End will be the new secondary location for a series of art and craft shows during 2014. The artists who show at Bell Rock Plaza will be joining show promoter and the originator of all art shows in Sedona, Donna Campbell, for this new location located in West Sedona on Highway 89A. The artists will not be putting on the Art Shows at the Factory Outlets any more, that has turned into a different group. Everyone is very excited about the new Relics location, and in addition to the Art and Craft Show, Relics antique store will be having an estate sale at the back. They will also be operating the smoke shack and serving BBQ ribs. Music will make the atmosphere festive and there will be over 25 artists participating.

March celebrates the opening of the 34th annual Juried Members Exhibition at the Sedona Art Center. On display is an array of wonderful pieces in every category imaginable.

Lynn Toneri and R.C. Hink, are artists and owners of the Toneri Hink Gallery for 33 years. At this show, Lynn Toneri won first place with a fall watercolor landscape, "On a Clear Day."
