SAC hosts Open Members Exhibition through Sept. 21
Now showing in the Special Exhibition Gallery at Sedona Arts Center is the Open Members' Exhibition and Sale, Sept. 5-21. The exhibition was created to afford all SAC member artists the opportunity to exhibit their finest works in a gallery setting alongside their peers, work with art patrons and get quality feedback on their art. It is always a great show with a diversity of styles and mediums represented.

Red Rose launches new season of Sedona art shows
Established in 2009, Red Rose is entering their 11th season of promoting Art and Craft shows for the benefit of animals.

On Saturday, Sept. 13, and Sunday, Sept. 14, is the first of four art shows of the fall season from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bell Rock Plaza Art Show returns for 18th season
The September Bell Rock Plaza Art and Craft show is scheduled for Sept. 13-14 and there will be many old favorites as well as some new artists who have never shown here before.

There will be over 35 artists and included will be paintings, photograpy, jewelry, glass art, metal sculpture, Native flutes and music, rugs, olive oils and balsamic, soaps and spa products, knives, wind spinners, leather Hopi Kachinas, and more.

As allegorical sculptor James Muir continues work on his monumental project for Kyle Stadium at Texas A&M University, he will also return some focus to a patriotic female soldier piece entitled "Athena's Prayer" that he began work on in the maquette size in 2012, which was recently completed in bronze.
