Silversmiths featured at June Bell Rock Plaza Art Show

The June Art and Craft Show at Bell Rock Plaza is scheduled for June 16 and 17th. There will be 30 to 35 artists participating and included will be photography, paintings, jewelry, pottery, pearls, knives, clothing, gourd art, rugs, metal art, and more.

Featured at this show will be Dave and Dena Small. They come from the small mountain community of Strawberry, and Dave is a self taught silversmith. He sells so well that most of his stock is fresh and new for every show. Dena has suncatcher crystals made of Swarowski crystal and also makes earrings and jewelry using the sparkling crystals. Dave makes bracelets, necklace pendants, earrings and all sorts of dainty imaginative jewelry using turquoise and gemstones and all Sterling silver. Dave is a pretty interesting fellow and will talk your ear off with his stories, so a good time will be had by stopping at his booth. Dave and Dena have been participating in Art Shows for a long time, but only in the last couple of years have decided to stick around Arizona. They were making weekly runs to Riverside, California where Dave managed an Art Show over there. We are very lucky that they decided to try a more local approach, and that their work sells well here.

Bell Rock Plaza is located on Hwy 179 in the Village of Oakcreek, Sedona next door to the La Quinta Inn. The show will be held on June 16 and 17 from 10 to 5 each day. For more information, please call (928) 284-9627 or visit www.bellrockartshows.com.
