THE MANHEIM GALLERY announces a month-long celebration of our featured artists. These wonderful artists have been prominently displayed throughout the year but during the month of May not only their works, but the artists themselves will be in the gallery offering demonstrations and workshops. This is the perfect opportunity to see how they do what they do, to stretch your own artist 'wings' and enhance your skills.

The schedule includes the following artists focusing on painting in unique mediums: Debbie Gallagher and Vada Lovato, Page Filson, Grace McKee, and Margo Mitchell.

Three-dimensional activities includes gourd kachinas with Lorraine Jones, weaving techniques in raffia and pine needles with Dawn Moffett, jewelry making using beads with Karen Piper, and metal clay with Debbie Czerney.

Trevor from John's Design Center will join us to discuss the framing art - understanding how to select matting and frames to enhance the intentions of the artist and the collector.

All demonstrations and workshops will be in the gallery. Demonstrations are approximately 1- 1 1⁄2 Hours and offered at no cost. Workshops are offered at $20 per person and are 1 to 2 hours long.

Upcoming Demonstrations this week - just in time for Mother's Day:

May 11, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Kachina Gourds with Lorraine Jones, 1-3 p.m. Jewelry Design with Karen Piper
