Sedona Giclée Gallery and Printer has now been open for two months in West Sedona's Harkins Theater Plaza, and the response of the public has been tremendous. To celebrate, owners Justin and Jodi Whittaker are hosting a free Grand Opening Party and Reception in the gallery on Friday, April 6, 4-9 p.m.

Everyone is invited to come by and enjoy the festivities, which will include fine wines from Arizona Stronghold winery, one of the state's most popular and widely recognized brands, plus live music by Jerome's William Hoshal, a nationally renowned composer, performer, recording artist, and painter. Several gallery artists will also be on hand to greet their fans and chat about their art.

In addition, there will be a raffle of several different pieces by Gallery Artists. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Sedona's  non-profit Art For Kids, Inc., and will go towards scholarships for this year's summer art camp titled "Animals in Art!"

"Art For Kids is so grateful for the community support for our scholarship program. With the economy still tough, there are many families who still need the help in order to make art camp possible," said Zenna MacGregor, the group's volunteer director.

Anyone who purchases a raffle ticket will receive a gift card for "Zainey's Yogurt" or the "Pure AZ Water and Ice", both of which are adjacent to the gallery.

One of the artists who will be greeting the public during the event is Sedona oil painter Delmary, whose use of oils is said to reflect a deeply personal expression of her love for light, color and the sea. Among the works she is currently showing at Sedona Giclée is "Treasure of The Dolphins #7", which was originally commissioned by The Franklin Mint. Reproductions of this piece have been seen and purchased by collectors worldwide.

Delmary is also exhibiting "White Buffalo," one of her many pieces that embrace Native American themes, in this case depicting a grandfather passing the legends of their people on to his grandson.

Also on hand at the grand opening will be designer and figurative artist Daniel Pierre. He specializes in wood and mixed-metal lamps, metal wall and relief sculptures, and large scale bronze sculptures. Pierre has "a deep and abiding love for everything outdoors," he says, "and that is reflected in almost everything I create."

At Sedona Giclée Gallery, he is currently showing a collection of custom designed lamps and candleholders, fashioned from fine woods he has personally collected plus metal retrieved from recycled car parts. He is also exhibiting a series of wall sculptures made from polished aluminum.

Sedona Giclée Gallery and Printer provides fine art reproduction, restoration, and printing services to the local arts community, and represents a growing range of renowned artists online as well as in their gallery in West Sedona. They offer prints and reproductions of their artists' works on a wide variety of print surfaces and media along with many other printing and design services.

Sedona Giclée Gallery and Printer is located at 2055 W. 89A, Suite B, near the Harkins Theater, and is open on Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, contact Justin or Jodi Whittaker at (928) 282-4708 or visit the gallery online at www.sedonagicleestudios.com.
