If you haven't heard, the new Mesa Grill at the Sedona Airport is open and ready to tantalize your taste buds for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The stunning space with its wing-like roofline and expansive glass surround invites mountain views and crimson sunsets in to dine. The views from high atop Sedona's famous mesa are simply breathtaking! Light filled by day and shimmering by night with pretty pendant lighting and sprays of color dancing off glass sculptures, the Mesa Grill exudes an industrial chic style.

Vivacious host Marc Battistini, owner and general manger, has a knack for creating a delightful dining ambience. With his 30 years in the restaurant business, Marc has developed a nose for talent. Executive chef Gonzalo Ramirez is on board, with over 20 years experience at one of Sedona's favorite fine dining establishments, Shugrue's at Hillside Sedona. Ever creative, he has pulled together a fresh, imaginative menu that redefines the American Grill concept. Along side Gonzalo is Chef Alberto Anaya known for infusing authentic Southwestern flair, like his exotic fresh salsas, to the "American Grill" menu offerings.

Open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., it is remarkable what Mesa Grill's kitchen offers up. The sumptuous breakfast menu includes classic egg dishes enlivened with spicy chorizo, seafood, fresh cheeses, cilantro and avocado, along with fresh berries for pancake and French toast lovers.

For lunch and dinner, in addition to traditional Grill fare, you will find delectable seafood dishes prepared with culinary creativity. Appetizers like Peruvian-Style Ceviche and Poblano Pepper Crabcake. There is an assortment of mouth-watering tapas,
specialty entrée salads, savory soups, gourmet burgers and delicate pastas as well. From the grill, you can select from a range of perfectly grilled steak favorites as well as rotisserie chicken, fresh trout and salmon, specially prepared seafood specials and grilled vegetables over couscous or pasta. Vegan-prepared dishes and gluten-free options are also available. A wide assortment of select wines and beverages and a tray of irresistible desserts round out the menu.

With intimate indoor seating for 60 and 12 at the bar, you will find the outdoor patio seating equally enjoyable. Tuesday evening is Locals Night with special discounts and live music with favorites like the versatile Fitzhugh Jenkins, Eric Williams and Bill Miller. Every night from 5 - 6 p.m. is the Early Flight Dinner with discounted food and beverage pricing on two Mesa Grill specialties. During warm weather, a grassy lawn for private parties or weddings and additional seating around the pines offers maximum flexibility for large private parties and celebrations.

Sedona's Design Group had surely had fun developing this project built under the direction of the Sedona Oak Creek Airport Authority. The state-of-the-art kitchen is open and bustling, and the Mesa Grill servers, always professional, are ready to help. Filled nightly, the joint is jumpin'. Rarely has such there been such overwhelming excitement to a new restaurant opening in Sedona.
