Greg Young, Executive Chef and proprietor of "The Bistro" at Sedona Pines Resort, is passionate about food and pastry. We at The Bistro affectionately call it Gourmet Comfort Food. If you're looking to be charmed, step into the Bistro for an unexpected surprise.
Chef Greg certainly knows his way around a kitchen. Formally trained at the LaVarenne Culinary Institute in Paris, Greg has owned restaurants for over 18 years. He has worked as a chef in private homes, hosted his own Radio Talk Show, "The Chef Show", and taught cooking classes for over ten years. Additionally, Greg did consulting work for Godiva Chocolate, Barnes & Noble , and the US Dairy Export Council.
From the pastry kitchen to the savory kitchen, Greg does it all. He is not an absentee owner. You will see him working every day. Greg's signature dishes include a Baked Brie Appetizer, Prime Rib, Fresh Seafood, Grandma's Pot Roast, and a Vegetable Lasagna with a sherry cream sauce. Homemade crème brulee and fresh strawberry cheesecake finish the meal perfectly.
