Movie Review: Follow the money and character shifts of 'The Drop'
Part crime story and part character study, The Drop is a little film that comes out of nowhere and leaves a mark.

Far more than the late James Gandolfini's last film, The Drop is another gem from writer Dennis Lehane, who gave us Mystic River and Shutter Island.

Movie Review: More to learn of people, animals in 'Dolphin Tale 2'
It's more of the same but perhaps even more educational in the family film Dolphin Tale 2.

Still inspired by the true story of Winter, the dolphin with the prosthetic tail, the sequel follows the next dramatic twist. Not exactly a necessary movie, it's greatest strengths are the encouragement for people with disabilities and the advancement of the "rescue, rehab, release" of injured wild animals.

Movie Review: Trust, truth are lost concepts in 'A Most Wanted Man'
In the post 9/11 world of counterterrorism, there is a razor-thin edge between right and wrong.

It's a world where the truth and a lie have become their own hybrid language.

It's a world where trust is a lost concept.

Movie Review: When the Game Stands Tall full of life's lessons
De La Salle High School in Concord, California, was undefeated for 151 straight football games from 1992 to 2004. Needless to say, that is a national record. Loads of players went on to play college and even professional ball, and the coach all of those years has become a sports legend.
