Diversity by any other name always a moving musical experience
Renee Rice and Tim Claybon
Renee Rice and Tim Claybon

Wednesday at Marketplace Café used to begin at 5 and end at 7 p.m.

Then Renee Rice and Tim Claybon showed up and convinced owner, Ken Rouse, that they could fill the restaurant and keep people there until 9 or 10 p.m. each Wednesday --- eating, drinking, dancing and "celebrating life." That's exactly what is happening as this dynamic couple deliver their unique style of musical entertainment each week.

Before moving to Arizona, Tim and Renee performed in and around the Detroit area for several years. Tim has proven his vocal ability time and again --- opening up for major artists and entertaining at many festivals.

Renee is a recording artist who has traveled the world in three singing tours and worked with artists such as Ray Charles, Motown legends Aretha Franklin, Martha Reaves, The Spinners, Temptations and many more opening acts.

Today, Tim and Renee as husband and wife perform throughout Arizona but reserve Wednesday Nights just for Marketplace Café. They are musical diversity at its finest. They also are part of a praise and worship team at a local church. Recently, they opened a new pet grooming salon in the Village called 4 Pawz Grooming so now they can also croon to your pet.

Tim and Renee perfermeach Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Call Marketplace Café - 928-284-5478.
