Open mic & Jam Sessions

Sunday

Sundays Main Stage hosts the 'Main Stage Open Mic Showcase.'  Each week features a 30 minute showcase act and allows ALL performers the opportunity to receive a free MP3 recording of their3-song set as well as professional quality photos from the large stage with professional quality sound and lighting.  The weekly Open Mic runs 6-8pm.  Main Stage is located at 1 S Main St in Cottonwood. Cottonwood singer-songwriter Sean Williams hosts an open mic every Sunday, 6 p.m., at Chae's Coffee Plus in the Fry's Shopping Center in Cottonwood.

The Arizona Old Time Fiddlers Verde Valley Chapter meets the first Sunday of each Month at the Senior Citizen Center on 6th Street from 1-4 p.m. Acoustic musicians are encouraged to come and play and join if they aren't already members. Non-musicians and/or people that just enjoy old time fiddling and songs are also always welcome.

The Martini Bar, 1350 W Hwy 89A in Sedona, has an open mic every Sunday beginning at 9 p.m. Hosted by Brett L. Graham. P.A., mics, guitars, & bass will be provided for all to use. The stage is open to musicians of all styles, poets, comedians etc.

Monday

Gary Simpkins hosts an open mic every Monday at Thanks A Latte Espresso Cafe, 348 S. Main St. in Camp Verde from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Call 567-6450.

Tuesday

My Dobro, at Fry's Plaza, hosts an open mic with My Dobro Allstars every Tuesday from 7-10 p.m.

Wednesday

The Spirit Room in Jerome, 166 Main Street, hosts an open mic every Wednesday from 8-11 p.m.

The Village Rock Shop of Sedona, Located at 6101 Hwy 179 Suite C (between Absolute Bikes and the Blue Moon Cafe), Village of Oak Creek, hosts an open mic from 6-9 p.m. every Wednesday  928-284-4220

Thursday

Singer-songwriter Dan Rice hosts an open mic every Thursday, 6-9 p.m., at Vintages Grille, 5155 N Dave Wingfield in Rimrock (928) 592-9220

Strombolis, 315 S. Main St. Cottonwood, hosts an open mic and jam session every Thursday beginning at 7 p.m.

Mooney's Irish Pub, 671 Arizona 179 in Sedona, hosts the "Gaelic Dogs" open mic on the first Thursday of each month, 6-9 p.m. Irish music only. Bring your fiddle, bodhran, pennywhistle or guitar. Dogs are welcome

SR 89A in West Sedona, from 7-10 p.m. The jam is open to all musicians, blues or otherwise, electric and acoustic. If you sing and/or play guitar, harmonica, keyboard, horn, bass, drums or anything else, you are invited to come by and jam with Neri and his band. This is not an open mic, where you get up on stage and play a couple of songs and then get off. This is a true jam session, with music and musicians flowing with the mood, on stage and off, throughout the evening.
