The holidays are here and for one night only, Sunday, Dec. 8, Relics Restaurant welcomes back Tom & Shondra to perform one of their two different holiday shows.
Broadway Wonderland is a family-friendly must see concert featuring an array of music, comedy and audience participation. This one-hour-plus show included tunes from some of Broadway's finest shows such as Les Miserables, Wicked, Camelot, Unsinkable Mollie Brown sprinkled with non-secular holiday favorites such as "Winter Wonderland," "Happy Holidays," "Santa Baby," "Blue Christmas and many more.
Tom & Shondra have wowed audiences on the National Performing Artist's Series Tour throughout Arizona. They are one of Sedona's premiere entertainment duos who entertain audiences with their own shows for many of Sedona's most popular events as well as performing for corporate and private parties throughout the country. Their individual credits in professional theatre and in the entertainment business is vast and they combine talents in their own shows to entertain audiences in Arizona as well as across the country. Recently their company Entertainment by Tom & Shondra was awarded the Sedona Spirit Award as the Business Benefactor of the Year 2013 for their service to the Sedona community with their time and talents.
Tom's professional experience as a singer, actor and entertainer has landed him as the warm-up act for Tony Bennett performing leads in musicals with Florence Henderson, Chita Rivera, Ricardo Montalban and Juliet Prowse to name a few. He's toured the USA in concerts with Jane Powell and Dorothy Warenskjold and cast in leads in musicals such as Camelot and Oklahoma on tour. Tom also owned his own production company in San Diego producing extravagant theme parties for company conventions and private parties throughout southern California. He also has a wealth of experience as a director and writer on several projects including writing children's shows with Shondra for he Arizona Library System. Besides being half of the popular entertainment duo Tom & Shondra, many folks in the Verde Valley have seen Tom performing nightly as Otis in the cowboy dinner show at the Blazin' M Ranch. His voice is also heard as the Narrator on the audio tour at the Sedona Heritage Museum.
Shondra is an alumna of Juilliard's Acting School in New York. She is a full time versatile singer, actress, musician and songwriter. Besides keeping a full performance schedule in Sedona's popular entertainment duo Tom & Shondra, she's the music director at the Center for Positive Living Sedona every Sunday located at 45 Castle Rock Road in the Village at 10 a.m. She's voice talent for Red Rock TV Channel 16 plus various websites and the writer/director/co-emcee of the Sedona Chamber's quarterly networking breakfast, Good Morning Sedona. Audiences have enjoyed her in leading roles in numerous musicals and plays including Nunsense I and II, Suds and Maybe Baby. She also provides DJ services for weddings, private parties as well as emceeing all the Sedona Chamber mixers, Sedona Winefest, Sedona Sunrise Superstar and many more. She's a professional MIDI arranger and sound designer who composes music for shows, commercials and projects with a long history of being a songwriter. She's a published songwriter who just released two separate CDs of her original songs in 2012. Shondra still finds the time to coach acting & voice students privately.
Relics Restaurant will be using their larger dining room and nightclub for this exclusive dinner show. Dinner reservations can be made from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy ordering dinner from Relics Restaurant's exceptional menu with the show starting at 8 p.m. Admission price for the show only is $15 per person when you make a reservation for dinner in which can be ordered off of Relic's fine dining menu. The show admission will be added on top of whatever is ordered for dinner. Dinner selections can be chosen from the Relics menu in which offers a terrific array of delicious entrees.
Reservations can also be made for the show only at $20 each and will be placed on a waiting list as patrons reserved for the dinner show will be seated first. Due to limited seating as well as the popularity of this show, reservations are highly recommended for either the dinner show or the show only.
