The Center for Positive Living Sedona (aka CPL Sedona), located in the Village of Oak Creek at 45 Castle Rock Road, has created a concert series called The Living Room Music Series at CPL Sedona.

CPL Sedona's seating is limited to 40 comfortable chairs, with a stage platform and excellent sound system. These concerts are allowing for an intimate, up close and personal showcase with some of the finest performing artists in Sedona and the Verde Valley every Wednesday from 7-8:15 p.m. Unlike any music venues in Sedona, audience members will have the opportunity to learn about the artists by asking questions of them during their concert.

Shondra Jepperson, director and founder of this concept, said, "This is really different than most produced concerts. Not only is it a new and intimate venue in Sedona, it's also a way to get to know the artists themselves during their concert because guests are invited to ask questions before and after songs.

"So far these past three Wednesdays, we've enjoyed Robin Miller, Vincent Z and Dan Engler's music and all the stories that they've shared with us."

CPL Sedona also offers on-going Sunday celebrations at 10 a.m. with inspirational talks and music. For more information visit CplSedona.org.

This week, Wednesday, Oct. 23, The Living Room Music Series at CPL Sedona will feature world re-known South African Master Drummer, Recording Artist, Story Teller and Cultural Ambassador, Baba Vusi Shibambo joined by talented Arizona drummer Connie Avery.

Their performance will feature traditional South African rhythms, songs and stories from the Motherland as well as a performance with audience participation on percussion instruments.

Wednesday, Oct. 30, audiences will be engaging with one of the popular Sedona Dynamite Divas, Jeanie Carroll who will be singing a huge variety of songs from Pop, Classic Rock, Standards, Jazz and International favorites.

Every Wednesday, the doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for tea and coffee with the concerts starting promptly at 7 p.m.

Admission is $10 cash only and because seating is limited it is highly recommended to arrive early since tickets are available only at the door the night of the concerts.
