Celtic Coffeehouse comes to Moonpies Emporium
Vyktoria Pratt Keating

On the first Friday of each month, Camp Verde's newest venue for music & the arts, Moonpies Emporium, will present "The Celtic Coffeehouse."

Performing on Friday, Sept. 7, 7-9 p.m., will be multi-CD award-winning singer/guitarist Vyktoria Pratt Keating. Having opened Moonpies in mid-August, the venue is off to a rolling start and September promises to be packed with great music, classes and events.

For the Celtic Coffeehouse, Keating will pull deep from her Scottish/Welsh roots, performing music of the British Isles. From haunting ballads to rousing, a-capella numbers, all the songs feature a compelling story line that she performs with an authenticity and feeling sure to send chills through the audience.

Moonpies features local crafts including Keating's own handmade soaps, and with its warm, teahouse atmosphere, adds a folksy touch to the evenings ambience. Coffee, tea & scones will be served along with much merriment.

The store opens at 5 p.m. and the music starts at 7.
