Sedona favorites Chris Seymour and Rick Cyge are enjoying the smiles they have been putting on faces with their recent collaboration as the duo Seymour & Cyge.

This weekend, the pair offers up two evenings of music around town. Enjoy their playful banter and nostalgic offerings as they perform their "Synergetic Baby Boomer Classics" and more throughout the evening on Saturday, Aug. 25, 6-9 p.m. at Up the Creek Grill, 1975 N. Page Springs Road, in Page Springs.

Then, tell your friends about the fun and catch up with this playful duo again on Sunday evening at The Marketplace Café in the Factory Outlett Mann in the Village of Oak Creek 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26.

Reminiscent of dynamic pairings such as Simon & Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers, Seals & Crofts, Loggins & Messina and Chad & Jeremy, the chemistry that Seymour & Cyge offer up creates a signature sound that is instantly recognizable and has become a mainstay in local eateries.

With a repertoire that stretches from Baby Boomer classics, to folk, country, pop, blues, and even Celtic, audiences find themselves singing along to some favorite and nostalgic songs from days gone by.

With their first CD release nearing completion the duo are expanding their repertoire with leaps and bounds. Cyge comments, "As audiences have requested a CD from us, and we began the recording process, we realized right away that, with so many great, nostalgic songs to choose from, we're already daydreaming about future volumes!"

In the meantime, audiences can enjoy the wide spectrum of the duo's Baby Boomer repertoire in engaging live performances.

Contented diners may recognize the pair: singer/guitarist, Chris Seymour from his performances in the rock tribute show, "The Heavenly J's" as Johnny Cash and John Denver, and singer/guitarist Rick Cyge as part of the duo "Meadowlark," and the trio "Ally & the Boys."

The men are also band mates in "The Rifftors Fabulous Fifties Revue" and have been guest performers in Joe Neri's Bob Dylan Birthday Concert.
