It's the Summer of Love all over again! In the first of more themed shows to come, Miller, Martin & Ki join the Marketplace Cafe in presenting "The Soulful '60s Show" on Saturday, July 14.
The popular quartet of masterful guitarists and rich vocals will entertain guests with their usual eclectic mix of jazz, Latin & pop favorites, starting at 6:30 p.m.
At 7:30 p.m., the real show begins! Hold on, because we've got your "Ticket to Ride" on the '60s train, complete with scenery, a tour guide, fun '60s-inspired dishes and of course, music to rock the caboose.
Be prepared for an hour of musical fun and frolic as all are transported to the psychedelic, soulful '60's. If "You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin' or "Can't get no Satisfactio," or even better, if you feel that "Time is On My Side" then join in on this blast to the past.
There will be some "California Dreamin" and the "Sunshine of Your Love." Or you can "Say a Little Prayer" and you might hear the "Sound of Silence," but the music Saturday night will make you shout "I'm a Believer" of flower power. With all that "Feelin' Groovy," don't be suprised if you hear someone say "Hello, I Love You" and "I Wanna Hold Your Hand." Get into the spirit of the Summer of Love on Saturday, July 14 at the Marketplace Cafe and we'll all end up "Happy Together."
