Four of Sedona's most esteemed musicians perform at the Heartline's Café's Music in the Garden series Sunday, July 8, 6-9 p.m.

The guitar, vocal and songwriting firepower of this band has continued to thrill audiences since its formation and first performance at the Heartline in the summer of 2010.

The eclectic quartet of 'Miller, Martin & Ki' features the work of three virtuoso acoustic guitarists along with rich lead vocals and harmonies

The band performs a tantalizing blend of styles including fiery flamenco, sophisticated Brazilian jazz, catchy originals and crowd-pleasing hits. Their versions of classic pop/rock tunes by artists such as the Eagles, the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Sting have won them a following on the local music scene.

In addition to having busy solo recording and performing careers, the members of this quartet (consisting of Robin Miller, Susannah Martin, Eric Miller and Patrick Ki) come together to create a dynamic synergy, full of fun energy and musical versatility.

Robin Miller brings a powerful blues and rock-based guitar sound to the group, honed by over forty years of professional experience. As a prolific songwriter, Robin has also written several of the original songs performed by the group.

Patrick Ki is a formally trained classical and jazz guitarist who brings a more lyrical-based guitar sound to the ensemble, influenced by his Hawaiian island upbringing. He also drives a strong and deep groove to propel the group.

The passion and fire of Latin music richly colors the instrumental style of Eric Miller, who has traveled to Spain to study the art of flamenco guitar. An award-winning songwriter in his own right, Eric has also contributed many original compositions that are a staple of the group's repertoire.

With an ability to sing in several different languages and to improvise fluidly, vocalist Susannah Martin gives the band a unique flair.

She sings fluently in Spanish and Portuguese, but also loves to belt out rhythm and blues and deliver a touch of sultry jazz. Susannah enjoys a dually located music career, living and working in northern Arizona as well as in her hometown of San Diego.

There is a $15 minimum food/drink order plus $10 cover charge per person for this event. Call Heartline Café at 928-282-3365 for Reservations (highly recommended). The Heartline Café is located at 1610 W. Hwy 89A in West Sedona.
