Enjoy the playful and nostalgic offerings of Sedona favorites Chris Seymour and Rick Cyge as they perform Synergetic Baby Boomer Classics and more as Seymour & Cyge at the Marketplace Café, this Sunday, June 10, 6-9 p.m.

What do Simon & Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers, Seals & Crofts, Loggins & Messina and Chad & Jeremy all have in common? There were all dynamic pairings of two musicians who together created a signature sound that was instantly recognizable. Chris Seymour and Rick Cyge have that same kind of chemistry. As each artist brings a depth of experience and distinctive style to the mix, Seymour and Cyge combine their unique individual talents, contrasting and complimenting one another into a single fresh and memorable collaborative sound.

With a repertoire that stretches from what they like to call "Baby Boomer Classics", to folk, country, pop, blues, and even Celtic, the common thread that runs through all their music is the chemistry they consistently create with the combination of their voices, guitars and Cyge's mandolin thrown in for spice. The banter between them keeps audiences entertained and the music is always engaging.

Singer/guitarist, Chris Seymour is especially active in the local music scene as an ensemble member of the rock tribute show, "The Heavenly J's" (performing as Johnny Cash and John Denver), "The Rifftors" (covering the timeless list of "Fabulous 50s" hits) and is a regular guest performer in Joe Neri's "Bob Dylan Birthday Concert".

Rick Cyge, who will perform vocals and guitar, is principal of the duo "Meadowlark," the trio "Ally & the Boys", is band mates with Seymour in "The Rifftors", and performed in this year's "Bob Dylan Birthday concert". Learn more about Seymour & Cyge and see video at

The Marketplace Café menu offers steaks, fresh fish, salads, burgers, wraps, pasta, pizza, comfort food, vegetarian and gluten-free food selections and is located at 6645 Route 179 in Village of Oak Creek near Sedona. Reservations suggested. Please call 928-284-5478.
