On Friday, April 13, Rick Cyge and Lynn Trombetta who perform as Meadowlark will return to The Well Red Coyote Bookstore for a CD signing and concert.

Offering their original music inspired by the region, Meadowlark transports listeners on a magic carpet ride into the imagination. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.

With flute, pennywhistles, and guitar, Meadowlark creates an uplifting, instrumental voyage inspired by the beauty of natural places. Riding between worlds, these seasoned story-weavers draw listeners in to experience the places and times that served as inspiration for their unique compositions: A hovering hawk takes flight through string-tapping on Cyge's prized Lowden guitar; ocean surf resonates in the warm and mellow tones of Trombetta's flute. Along the way, Meadowlark seems to change character in "chameleon-like" fashion from song to song, melding influences as diverse as Celtic, African, and Mediterranean in their original compositions.

The Well Red Coyote Bookstore has won the Kudos' Readers' Choice Award for Best Bookstore in Sedona for the sixth year in a row! Come a little early, enjoy the ambience and the music!
