Sedona Art, Wine and Dine returns

After discontinuing the Sedona Art, Wine and Dine in 2008 due to the route 179 construction project, Gallery of Modern Masters is bringing back this very popular event. Sedona Art, Wine and Dine are fine art and social events that provide an opportunity for connoisseurs to learn about cutting edge art while enjoying Sedona's finest wines and cuisine. To provide a unique setting, the Gallery of Modem Masters teams with some of Sedona's finest restaurants and resorts to create an incredible opportunity for a limited number of guests to the ultimate art and dining experience in Sedona.

After having a sell-out event this past March at Seven Canyon's Country Club, the Gallery of Modern Masters has paired with Seven Canyons Country Club again as well as with Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa to create a Sedona Art Wine and Dine event unlike any previously sponsored before.

This capital event spans two days and features internationally famed glass artists Christopher Ries and Peter Bremers. Guests will learn about Christopher Ries's hand carved optical crystal that brilliantly captures the phenomena of light, as well as Peter Bremer's ancient glass Graaling technique that brinks time through modern hues and form. Find out what inspires their art. Hear the secrets of working with glass and see their new creations not yet revealed to the public.

This event will take place Saturday, May 7, and Sunday, May 8, making this year's Mother's Day weekend extra special. Honored Guests will enjoy a generous sampling of fine local and international wines paired with gourmet cuisine specially prepared by the culinary masters at Seven Canyons on Saturday and Sedona Rouge on Sunday. The Saturday event will start at 12:45 p.m. to be a full afternoon of art, wine and dining.

Reds at Sedona Rouge will be hosting the Mother's Day lavish buffet style brunch, as well as offering overnight packages in their deluxe rooms appointed with the most eclectic Spanish and Mediterranean adornments. The Sunday brunch will start at 9:45 and guests will be able to peruse the buffet throughout the morning event.

Each presentation is unique in that the artists will present different aspects of their work and talent. Guests can choose to attend either event or stay with Sedona Rouge to experience the full weekend. Join Gallery of Modern Masters to celebrate Mother's Day weekend in style. Prices and detailed information are available at To make all reservations call Gallery of Modern Masters at (928) 282-3313 or email
