Live Stand-Up Comedy with Jimmie Walker
Award-winning, world-renowned television star and comedian Jimmie Walker brings his "Dyn-O-Mite" stand-up comedy show to Sedona when he performs live on the Goldenstein Stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. There will be three performances Aug. 22-24, presented by the Sedona International Film Festival.

Anthony Mazzella & Friends at Relics Restaurant Saturday
Acclaimed guitar virtuoso Anthony Mazzella and friends will be performing at Relics Restaurant on Saturday Night Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. The show will feature two fresh faces that are new to the Sedona performance stage. Singers Julie Floyd and Chuckie Charles will each perform a half hour set of classic vocal songs. Guitarist Anthony Mazzella will headline the evening with an instrumental one hour set of the most incredible guitar playing you will most likely have ever heard and/or seen!

Red Rocks Music Festival returns Aug. 30-31
The Red Rocks Music Festival will present two exciting concerts at the Sedona Creative Life Center, 333 Schnebly Hill Road.

Aug. 30, 7:30 p.m., the festival will present the Magnificent Blend of Voice & Strings.

The concert features: Ariana Wyatt - soprano, Adam Margulies - baritone (from the movie The Bohemian), David Ehrlich, Nokuthula Ngwenyama, - violins, Rami Solomonow - viola, Jan Simiz - cello and Teresa Ehrlich - piano.

For Riopelle, the weekend performances continue a love affair with Arizona audiences that began in the early 1970s.

"We're friends, me and the audience," is the way Riopelle describes the relationship. "We're pals. That's the only way I can describe it.

"I feel so lucky. It is an amazing thing and certainly very gratifying ... I mean, how many people can keep something going like this for 40 years."
