Celebrate pioneer women at Blazin' M
Back by popular demand and in celebration of the Blazin' M Ranch enjoying its 20th anniversary, the ranch is again offering up "A Woman's Hand," a special live theatrical production filled with music, laughter, tears, and a wealth of soul through the eyes of pioneer women in the Verde Valley. Written by Dev Ross, the show enjoyed a successful sold-out run earlier this year. Audiences will again get to experience this show now playing every Sunday through Nov. 9.

William Eaton, Eric Williams and more perform at Sedona Arts Festival
The Sedona Arts Festival celebrates its 24th anniversary from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11 and 12 at Sedona Red Rock High School, 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road.

Local favorite William Eaton will headline the festival. Other performers include Eric Williams, David Vincent Mills, Gary Bettum, Jake Payne, Alexander McFee and Jim Sheridan.

Potter's Hand Productions has announced open auditions for the 11th annual Christmas production of Pilgrimage to Bethlehem 2014.

Verde Valley Newspapers once again will team with the Old Town Center for the Arts for the third annual Kudos Folk Music Showcase Nov. 1.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the performances beginning at 7 at OTCA, located on the corner of 5th and Main streets in Old Town Cottonwood.

"We hope to raise the bar every year on the Kudos Folk Music Showcase," said event host and Kudos Editor Dan Engler. "This year, for the first time, we have a national act - Texas troubadour Ray Wylie Hubbard - headlining the show."

Old Town Center opens season with Celebrate the River
Old Town Center for the Arts opens its 7th Season with a concert dedicated to bringing attention to our most important natural resource - water. Musicians, artists and river advocates will gather for an evening of music, stories and poems for the 26th annual 'Celebrate the River' concert.

The concert will feature some of the region's best musicians, including Allen Ames, Marianne Kremer-Ames, John Ziegler, Claudia Tulip, Eric Zang, William Eaton, Mary Redhouse, Wendy Harford, and JoAnne Agostinelli. There'll be solo and duo presentations as well as original songs from the "River Band," all inspired by the river and the life-sustaining aspect of rain and water cycles.

Former Misfits lead singer Michale Graves invades Main Stage on 'Zombies Unite' tour
Michale Graves has announced that he is embarking on a limited tour in connection with the new "Zombies Unite" album. The unprecedented album "Zombies Unite" features Graves and Russian punk band "Night of Samhain" on a 2-CD set - one CD will include the original songs performed by Night of Samhain in Russian and the other CD will have the same songs performed by Graves in English, supported by instrumentals by the band. The album, being produced by Hydraulic Entertainment, has a release date set for late October. Included on both CD's is the song "Zombies" performed in English by Graves and Night of "Samhain."
