Oak Creek Band will return to Sedona from their new home in Nashville to perform at Encore Theatre in the Village of Oak Creek.

The performance is on Sunday, April 27, 7-9 p.m.

Oak Creek Band will rock the theater with soulful sounds from their recently released album "Eleven" as well as brand new songs and timeless covers.

Tickets are available at www.encoretheatersedona.com and Weber's IGA.

Oak Creek returned to their hometown last November during their CD release tour, performing a sold out show at Soundbites Grill as a benefit for Colon, who was diagnosed in August 2013 with Stage 3 testicular cancer.

Colon, a childhood friend of Oak Creek singers Daniel & Jenna Watters, had undergone months of intense chemotherapy and was facing extensive treatment for blood clots and recurrence of cancer in abdominal and back lymph nodes.

With the help of Sedona local businesses and the attending crowd, the benefit was very successful, raising over $3,000 to help pay medical bills. The Grand Prize of an Enchantment Resort & Spa Package (won by Beth Harmon of Pioneer Title) was generously given to Nic and his girlfriend Arasai.

Although this event was several months ago, the Oak Creek Band, The Colon Family and Soundbites Grill would like to thank everyone in the community for their amazing support and patronage, concern, and continued love & prayers for Nic. The band is also pleased to announce that Nic has gone into remission from his cancer.

Since the benefit show, Oak Creek Band has been touring the eastern part of the country performing in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York.

The band has been added to the roster of Management/Booking group, Artifact Concepts in March 2014.

In addition, the band recently recorded a live five-song EP of brand new songs, which will be released in audio and video formats soon.

Oak Creek Band is also excited to be playing their first major music festival "Floyd Fest," which takes place in Floyd, Va.

Tickets available at Urban Gypsies in Safeway Plaza, Webers IGA, or ENCORE THEATRE - www.encoretheatresedona.com or 928.284-0552.

Ticket price $15 presale / $20 day of show.
