Take some time from the holiday hustle and bustle to shake your blues with the sixth edition of the Holiday Blues Revue, presented by Joe Neri & Blues Dawg, on Saturday, Dec. 7, 7 p.m., at Old Town Center for the Arts.

Blues Dawg is fronted by Neri, with Scott Beck on guitar, Duane Ewing on sax, Hutch Hutchinson on bass, and Gino Romeo on drums. This annual event features some blues-ified holiday music, classic and original blues performed by some of the finest musicians in Northern Arizona.

Neri and his band, Blues Dawg, will provide the backdrop for several popular and talented musicians - Alexander, Dan Bresnan and Jeanie Carroll - performing a mix of holiday classics and original compositions for the season.

Alexander is a very accomplished, multi-talented musician, equally at home on guitar, keyboard and harmonica. His original compositions are popular throughout the world and on Internet radio.

Dan Bresnan is a fiery-but-nuanced guitar slinger, a local favorite on stage, and fronts his own band, the Bresnan Blues Band. He can expertly navigate most music genres, most notably rock, blues and country.

Jeanie Carroll is one of the Sedona divas, with a beautiful and strong voice that has exceptional range. She really knows how to "belt one out!" Carroll performs throughout the area and her DJ skills are equally in demand.

Come enjoy a great concert, the blues, and some good foot stompin' cheer for all, at the Holiday Blues Revue, on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Old Town Center for the Arts.

The doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the music begins at 7.

Old Town Center for the Arts is located at 633 N. 5th Street (5th Street & Main) in Old Town Cottonwood.

Tickets for the Holiday Blues Revue are $12 in advance, $15 at the door, and $18 priority seating in the first three rows.

Tickets are available online at, and in Cottonwood at: Flour Garden Café, Mount Hope Foods and Desert Dancer; and in Sedona at Crystal Magic.
