Pure and simple, it's a weekend to dance at Cottonwood Main Stage

The Verde Valley's own DJ, DB and The Chromatics take over at Main Stage this weekend giving the people something to dance to.

On Friday, Aug. 30, local DJ DB (known off stage as Frank Bourne, owner of Cottonwood shop, Decibels Custom Audio) will bring the Hot August Cottonwood Nite party to the venue.  

DJ DB will showcase an eclectic mixture of Top 40, rap, hip hop, "Old School" and dub step.  DJ DB has been active in the Verde Valley for years and anticipates a dance party to send off the summer with a bang.  

The show is free and begins at 9:30 p.m.

For those with any energy left, Saturday, Aug. 31, sees the Main Stage debut of local reggae band The Chromatics.  

Long known as one of Northern Arizona's premier reggae acts, The Chromatics have been bringing their blend of "roots, rock, reggae" to stages across Arizona for the last several years.  Amassing a considerable local following, the band is eager to make their debut at Main Stage and to bringing their reggae dance party with them.  

The show is free and starts at 9:30 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 1, sees the return of Country Sundays with Bill Bassett's Trailbazers. Each Sunday from 4-7 p.m., Bill Bassett brings out his crew of 'real deal honkey tonkers' to deliver some of the finest weekly country music the Verde Valley has to offer.

Main Stage is located at 1 S Main Street in Cottonwood, AZ.  

The venue is open Wednesday - Saturday, 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
