An unconventional family leaves its wilderness home and tries to adapt to the world outside the forests of the Pacific Northwest in “Captain Fantastic”, a humorous, challenging and ultimately moving drama from writer and director Matt Ross and starring Viggo Mortensen.
The Sedona International Film Festival presents the Northern Arizona premieres of the critically-acclaimed new films "Captain Fantastic" (starring Viggo Mortensen) and "Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie" showing Aug. 26-31 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.
The inspired new musical pairings include Anne Hathaway, Daisy Ridley, Patrick Wilson, Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, Antonio Banderas, Jamie Foxx, Seth MacFarlane, and a spectacular virtual duet with Anthony Newley.
The Sedona Hub is the home of the Music in the House Concert series, and with six concerts so far and another six scheduled into February 2017 these intimate, informal live performances provide a unique Sedona experience.
The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Met Live Opera: Live in HD series for the 2016-17. Once again, the festival will host the productions via satellite at its Mary D. Fisher Theatre, 2030 W. State Route 89A in West Sedona.

Presentations, hosted by the Sedona Camera Club, are free.
